研究方向為三個相互關聯的研究領域：視覺空間注意、時間知覺／時間信息加工、神經美學。三個方向的研究均在國際合作的框架下進行。研究方法包括行為實驗、fMRI、ERP和MEG等神經成像技術。 在注意領域，主要關注不同視野區域的注意功能差異；在時間領域，主要關注高頻（幾十毫秒）和低頻（幾秒）時間窗的時間信息加工及日節律；在神經美學領域，主要關注繪畫、音樂和詩歌中的空間和時間加工機制。
