Abstract

BMC Global and Public Health is a newly launched selective BMC flagship journal that sits alongside the other BMC flagships (incl. BMC Medicine, BMC Biology, Genome Biology and Genome Medicine). The journal was launched last year and publishes impactful research, key advances and expert opinion in all areas of global and public health. In this session, a brief introduction of the BMC Portfolio will be provided first, followed by details of this new public health journal including our aims and scope, areas of interest, article types we accept, the collaborative editorial model with both in house editors and editorial board members, content we have published and special issues we have opened. There would be a Q&A session after a short presentation. Any question about the new journal or the career as an academic editor is welcomed.

Bio

李根在中國科學院心理研究所獲得應用心理學博士學位。 他的研究興趣主要集中在創傷後應激障礙（PTSD）的流行病學和遺傳基礎。之後，他于 2021 年加入上海紐約大學全球健康公平研究中心，擔任全球公共衛生博士後研究員，從事公共心理健康研究。 他與澳門大學合作，領導了世界衛生組織數字心理健康幹預抑郁症的臨床研究。 他在心理健康相關期刊發表了40餘篇SCI/SSCI論文，一作的研究成果發表在Lancet Regional Health - Western Pacific、Translational Psychiatry和BMJ Mental Health等期刊上。 2023 年，李根加入 BMC Global and Public Health期刊，擔任創刊副主編，負責包括心理健康、臨床試驗、統計建模和實施科學在内的多個領域的内容。 他還對健康的社會決定因素、公共衛生人力資源和衛生經濟學等主題感興趣。李根目前在施普林格-自然（上海）辦事處工作。
